Including in the project were specialised fabrications , GRP grating Installations, Confined space chamber work and working within tidal conditions. |
Renovation of existing sheet pile supporting walls, consisting of replating and replacing existing wailings with integrated platforms and access walkways. Grp treads and landing areas were introduced to improve access / safety across the project.
|
New multi-level platforms, to improve access to the sluice gates and provide a means for future maintenance and monitoring of all equipment.
All work was hot dip galvanised and pre-errected in house, GRP grating was used to provide anti-slip media for all platforms and Wire mesh panels for improved safety and security in all areas. |
Due to the nature of the work and the fact Tidal work was evident, pre-assembly of all items and introduction of extensive 3d design and clash detection was employed to ensure all the elements fitted once brought to site.
